This vibrant Northern Cardinal ~ Cardinalis Cardinalis ~ is a shade of red that you can’t take your eyes off. He is from North America and their whistles are one of the first sounds heard in the morning. 

He is made entirely by hand using sustainably sourced materials, including merino wool, silk and vintage fabrics, vintage feathers, silk threads, wood and glass eyes.

Each bird is unique. He has a needle-felted body and is hand stitched with carefully selected silks to replicate natural colourings.

He is life-size. He stands at 12cm tall, 20cm tail to beak and 4.5cm in width. He stands independently and will suit any display space. 

Each bird is uniquely numbered and dated on the leg ring with a makers mark.
